Al Goodman is the founding Partner of the Goodman Law Group New York. As a former prosecutor, Al handled thousands of Felony and Misdemeanor cases while working for the State Attorney’s Office. Al has extensive trial and litigation experience with over 50 jury trials and over 100 bench trials including countless motion practice. Prior to joining the State Attorney’s Office, Al worked for a prominent civil law firm where he gained invaluable experience in the world of Personal Injury. Currently, Al focuses his practice on criminal defense and personal injury law.

Al graduated cum laude from Florida Atlantic University and earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Nova Southeastern University Law School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

As a former IBM programmer, Al has comprehensive knowledge of information systems including computer hardware and software. Al is also a dedicated car enthusiast with knowledge and hands on experience with working and servicing vintage and modern automobiles.
